The department Trade Marketing
The Trade Marketing department consists of 2 (senior) Trade Marketeers and is led by the Trade Marketing Manager who reports to the Sales Director. The Trade Marketing organisation is in a transition phase in which Trade Marketing will build a guiding and advising function to Sales instead of a facilitating and supporting role. Marketing, Sales and Trade Marketing work closely together in Category teams who are led by the Senior Trade Marketeer. The company is therefore looking for an ambitious, driven and assertive Senior Trade Marketeer who will play an active leadership role in the team and the organisation.
The Senior Trade Marketeer is responsible for a category of brands. He / she works closely together with Sales and Marketing for optimal channel distribution (foodretail, drug / pharmacist, Cash & Carry, non food) of new products and concepts. The company uses score-cards for measuring and managing Key Performance Indicators at category and account level.
In line with the total Dutch business plan, the Senior Trade Marketeer will develop the Key Accounts specific business plans. Together with Account Management , the Senior TM will develop strategy and plans and presents Market/Consumer/Category trends to key customers. He/she initiates activities to maximize turnover and profit and develops Sales presentation / materials for new product market entry.
The Senior TM plays an important role in developing and updating Syndicated Data to understand and drive developments of categories and customers (Sources: Nielsen, PCN-data, internal financial & sales data). He / she will utilize this information to review data, identify opportunities and implement learnings.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 to 5 years commercial experience in FMCG or Retail and a minimum of 2 years Sales experience in Retail (Food or drug). Remuneration - Senior Trade Marketeer
