Our client is one of the leading European manufacturers (Durable products – B2B distribution)

The position - Senior Accountant

For the Dutch subsidiary our client wishes to appoint a Senior Accountant who will be in charge of accounting including supplier accountancy; invoice management in SAP, process payments, invoicing and payment control and filing. Manage and follow up banking accounts (data uploading, balance checking, and reconciliation), and take part in the production of end of period accounts and reporting.

In addition responsibilities of this position include:

• Carry out trade of goods declarations – eg customs declarations and VAT returns,
• Carry out intangible assets accounting, and the depreciation and provision allowances,
• Follow up cash investments,
• Manage preparation tax returns,
• Follow up expenses claims,
• Prepare tax reports and accounting reports,
• Calculate and establish taxes and other tax reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial information to Management as required

Required experience:

• Proven trackrecord in finance and administration – minimal 5 years.
• Good understanding of common IT applications – knowledge of SAP is compulsory,
• In attitude organized, methodical, pro-active, and rigorous. Excellent communicator, business and market focussed, team player helpful and service minded, positive & sociable nature and a good colleague.

Profile:

• Age : 35 – 40 years old (not limitative)
• Languages : Besides Dutch, a good command of English is required, spoken and written.
• Education : Appropriate education MBO/HBO level including SPD qualification or equivalent.
• Nationality : Dutch
• Gender : M/F

Remuneration - Senior Accountant
