Our client is the leading manufacturer of extruded plastic sheets, aluminum composite materials and lightweight foamboards. The business unit Transport & Industry serves a huge variety of industries such as: rail, marine, bus, caravan, sanitaryware, vehicle construction, agricultural vehicles, furniture construction and so on. They are able to offer their customers a unique variety of different versions of their foamboard, plastic, and composite sheet range. Their wide spread network of 11 production sites all over Europe (geographical and technological), enables them to offer their customers a solution tailor-made to their needs. Moreover, they attach particular importance to sustainable manufacturing processes and environmentally friendly materials.

 

The position - Sales Development Manager Benelux

 

Mission and Objectives

  • First year: insight in markets to know the customers, networking, developing existing customers, first new contracts
  • Building the market
  • Achieving the sales objectives for T&I products
  • Spreading of the company’s European offering position in the Benelux
  • Managing the sales funnel to strengthen the market position and expand market share

 

Tasks and Competencies

  • Gaining knowledge of the market situation, competition, price trends, etc. and share the information with all relevant departments
  • Active network - external (market) and inside the organisation
  • Building networks of thermoformers and OEM (long term)
  • Establishing a road map for business development
  • Realization of the sales strategy, i.e. focus on direct customers= thermoformers and OEM
  • Gaining project business and follow-up (enquiries, offers, claims, etc.)
  • Establishing best possible relationships to OEMs and converters and reach the status “preferred supplier”
  • Work together with customer service regarding enquiries, offers and projects in a professional manner in order to guarantee the best possible business relation with the distributors
  • Guaranteeing a high-level price quality, control service levels and margins of the business partners
  • Efficient organization of customer visits and on-going reporting
  • Market presence: 4 days / week

 

Remuneration - Sales Development Manager Benelux

 

Fix base salary + Bonus of 10% to 30% + Company Car
