The position - Human Resources Manager EMEA

This position will provide expertise for all human resources functions and initiatives in the EMEA region and provide primary support to our EMEA regional management board. The Human Resources Manager will have leadership responsibilities for a team of 3 regional HR generalists and also be responsible for providing HR business support to the EMEA back office and the business operations in various eastern European countries.

We are looking for an operationally-focused, results- and people-oriented person with sound judgment and the ability to balance business considerations. Primary disciplines include recruitment and retention, employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning and compensation. Must have a hands-on orientation and be involved in tactical and transactional issues.

• Develop and execute both local and corporate-wide policies and procedures to effectively attract and retain top talent within the organization
• Provides HR support to businesses on employee relations issues
• Assists in corporate-wide and EMEA-wide HR operational activities
• Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and provides operational support and advice on related matters
• Assists in the communication and implementation of strategic HR initiatives for Europe
• Implement strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the recruiting function, using creative, “out of the box” thinking for new audiences: manage open headcounts to budget. Execute and measure efforts to deliver workforce planning and global talent acquisition and development; promote employee effectiveness and development
• Oversee the management of compensation, benefits, employee relations, progressive discipline procedures and HR metrics
• Participate in the creation, development and rollout of worldwide corporate HR initiatives
• Partner with managers and staff to ensure understanding and up-to-date knowledge of all appropriate HR policies and programs
• Coach, lead, influence and advise organizational leaders to maximize effectiveness in their roles

Profile

• 10-12 years of demonstrated, progressive HR generalist experience with exposure to HR practice issues in other European countries;
• at least 5 years experience leading and managing people;
• experience in a software organization is preferred;
• candidate must possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, excellent planning, organization, and prioritization abilities;
• bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required;
• international travel of up to 25% is required.
