The position
Based on business needs and HR strategy the Corporate Compensation & Benefits Consultant develops and implements global compensation and benefits policies and programs. The job reports to the Manager Compensation & Benefits and works at Corporate HR level within a global scope.
Responsibilities
• Based on business needs and HR strategy develop global or regional compensation and benefits policies which are market competitive and motivating. • Develop and maintain global job frameworks with reference jobs, classified with the Hay methodology. • Implement and monitor global compensation and benefits policies. • Advice management and HR professionals worldwide on the application of policies and programs. Acts as contact person for the Americas, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. • Participate in change management projects, such as acquisitions and reorganizations. • Coordinate and execute monitoring programs to assess compliance with global policies |

Languages: Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a definite plus.
Education: Academic level, Master degree
The ideal candidate has at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment. He/ she is an expert in the areas of job classification (preferably Hay), remuneration and performance management. He / she has a solid business understanding and a great knowledge of alignment improvement processes. The candidate has strong analytical skills, a structured working approach and a hands-on attitude. He/ she has the ability to work in a dynamic international business environment and deliver high quality services. He/she is an entrepreneur who has the ability to get things on track and who can easily translate the needs of the business into concrete actions He/ she has strong communication skills and is able to operate at different levels in the organization. Is organization sensitive: shows awareness of formal and informal channels and the interest of various groups; has maturity and is capable of giving advise without causing resistance.
